Before any other confusion arises, let me say that this discussion was brought up in the light of the PROP8 issue in the state of California. PROP8 effectively denies the right of homosexuals to get married and is heatedly debated as we speak.
What's the big deal about same-sex marriage? It's definitely not hurting anyone.
And if thy're telling people who they can and cannot marry, who's to stop them from telling me I can't marry a white guy b/c my skin is brown- toned?
Yes, I know all about what the Bible says about homosexuality, but God gave people the CHOICE to make that decision. FREE WILL - that's why we're here, to make good choices, otherwise we'd all be saints in heaven, and there's be no need of sin or repentance blah blah ...
I just think that it's totally wrong to try and restrict people like that. They're people, not animals.
