Gay marriage: why not?

- It is not harmful.
- Homosexual couples can perform all of the functions of a heterosexual couple except reproduction by sex.
- Marriage is all about love and consent
- Homosexuals deserve the same rights as everyone else.
- Homosexuals deserve to be free of persecution and discrimination.

errrmmm.. kyny klo setau aku the Church never condemns orang yang punya kecenderungan untuk jadi gay. tapiii.. yang namanya marriage kan something yang uda diciptakan untuk man-woman. karena marriage itu harus free-total-faithful-fruitful..

jadi.. klo man-man namanya bukan marriage dong.. krn ga memenuhi 4 syarat itu..

Before any other confusion arises, let me say that this discussion was brought up in the light of the PROP8 issue in the state of California. PROP8 effectively denies the right of homosexuals to get married and is heatedly debated as we speak.

What's the big deal about same-sex marriage? It's definitely not hurting anyone.

And if thy're telling people who they can and cannot marry, who's to stop them from telling me I can't marry a white guy b/c my skin is brown- toned?

Yes, I know all about what the Bible says about homosexuality, but God gave people the CHOICE to make that decision. FREE WILL - that's why we're here, to make good choices, otherwise we'd all be saints in heaven, and there's be no need of sin or repentance blah blah ...

I just think that it's totally wrong to try and restrict people like that. They're people, not animals.

Setuju ama Cassie. Apalagi yg "fruitful". Seingetku Forzajuv pernah bilang kalo marriage itu mesti di-consummate. Kalo nga isa, jadinya nga sah. Kalo ga salah juga, bahkan sampe ga dikasi menikah, CMIIW Forzajuv.
